Ok i'm in the St. Vincent De Paul group in Novena Church!
It may not be my parish church but i enjoy helping them out.
My father is a member so when he goes for St. Vincent De Paul I will follow him if my mother allows!
I only go with him if it is not an exam week!
We do alot of hard work but it is fun as the old folks we help are really friendly they will joke with you and the will smile!
When you first reach the homes you will see them all quiet and sad but once they see you they will be so happy! They feel real happy when people talk to them as when they are old they are all alone!
I have only gone to about 2 homes so far many times.
1 is a HDB flat where alot of old folk live we only give food items to those who we need to give to.
Another home is the IJ home there Nuns and old folk live in.
I like that home alot because the old folk there are really nice to me!
You see my dad is well liked by the old folk there so they like me too!
They also think I look like my dad!
They joke with me and once we all took a picture the first time I went there!
It has been at least 2 or 3 years since we took the picture!
I have been helping out with my father 2 or 3 years already!
I hardly help out now as I got a lot of homework and projects to do!
But I do go and visit them when I have no homework!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats all I have to say about my church group!

Hi, a very good sharing on your experience with SSVP of Novena Church. Please do note that you're supposed to write two entries per week. one on wed n one on sat if im correct. Secondly, please do cut down on the number of exclamtions u use.
